The 1850 structure was renovated in 2002 when Marty and his partner Richard Wallgren bought the building. (For forty years prior to that, it was the New Preston Pharmacy, and the rooms still have that apothecary feel.) The two also bought and renovated the old mill building at 7 East Shore Road that now houses Pergola Home.
